Fishers Bistro first opened its doors in 1991 on the harbour front in Leith. From the outset, the emphasis was placed on the imaginative use of the best Scottish seafood and good wine at sensible prices. Over the next few years the restaurant steadily built its reputation as one of Scotland’s most respected eateries, known for its daily changing menu and relaxed atmosphere.
As word spread to other parts of the City, and further afield, the restaurant became busier and busier, and by 2001 it was almost impossible to get a reservation. With this in mind there was only one decent thing to do for the loyal patrons, and Fishers in the City was born in the New Town. The new restaurant has been built on the success of its elder sister and has quickly become one of the best places in the city. With a relaxed atmosphere, professional yet charming service and award winning dishes, Fishers has become one of the places to go in Edinburgh.
It then seemed a natural progression to offer what we do so well in the surrounding of you own home or office. And so Fishers Catering was born.
